The Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus was created in 1907 when Ben Wallace had purchased the stranded Carl Hagenbeck Trained Wild Animal Circus in the fall of 1906. The Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus went through a few owners and different winter quarters, finally closing for good in 1938.
