Jerry Mugivan and Bert Bowers went to Cincinnati to talk to the John Robinson Family about buying their circus that had been closed for the last five years in 1916. They bought it all and promptly sold the physical property to John Warren as all they wanted was the John Robinson name for their new circus. The John Robinson Circus became their largest circus to date and would serve them well for many years.
