Jan. 22, 1930 – Jeremiah Joseph Mugivan, King of the Circus World for more than a decade, died at Harper’s Hospital in Detroit where he was recovering from what was believed to be two simple hernia surgeries. ( Just 4 months after he sold his circus empire to John Ringling )
