1915 – Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus

On January 16, 1915 – The New York Clipper reported that John B. Warren has disposed of his holdings in the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus, the same having been purchased by C. B. Corey and Ed. Ballard, who now practically control the entire stock. The transaction was an amicable and satisfactory one to all parties concerned. The regular annual meeting of the Cart Hagenbeck-Wallace Shows Company, Incorporated, was held at the Denison Hotel. Indianapolis, Saturday, Jan. 9. C. E. Corey was elected president and general manager. Ed. Ballard, re-elected director, as was Mr. Corey. Charles Hagaman retains his stock and will be legal adjuster with show.

At the end of the season, the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus comes home to a newly formed winter quarters in West Baden, Indiana.
